LOL is a fun game to play with others who aren’t all mad you know? My brother got me into it but I died too much and I’m still trying to get the hang of it.
Oh the grinding for exp. Reminds me of the hours I spent in Final Fantasy games just to stand a chance at the bosses :) Or those summonings >.>
Never heard of Guild wars. Is it a strategy type?
It sucks because for an online game like LOL it does matter how other people are just cause of the experience. I tried to play yesterday and early today but of course my laptop was like “Oh you wanna practice your gaming skills? Nah I don’t think so. Lets spend the day without internet!” :<

Yeah. Just had a couple games with the boyfriend and our other friend Brandon- did okay as Caitlyn the first time, although I didn’t have too much damage under my belt like the other team’s, but that’s alright. I got a couple good shots off. :D It was fun. We also played an ARAM where I learned I should never play Shaco again because I kept fooling myself with my ult and that is bad. Lolololol.
Guild wars is an MMO. They did a lot of things right with it, but there was nothing at the end. One of my characters is max level, but she can’t really do anything. Kinda lost interest after that.

I’m beginning to think that LoL just isn’t gonna wanna play on my desktop. Keep getting error after error after error. Fix one, then NEEEEXT.
Repairing my client now, hopefully that’ll solve the problem, since restarting the computer twice didn’t.

Yeah. Honestly I decided to try to get back into the game because the boyfriend plays it A LOT, and it would give us something to do together. :) He and I have pretty different tastes in games; like I enjoy things like Aion despite the feel of grinding through levels and slaughtering everything just to get 2000 out of like… 3 million exp or whatever to level, which he doesn’t like too much.
He’s also mad that you have wings in that game, but can only fly in small areas of the huge-arsed map. Lol. But he started playing again a little bit for me, so I figured I could return the favor maybe?
Guild Wars kinda fell through for both of us due to the lack of end-game anything, and our computers aren’t really good enough to run instances or actually let us be useful for world boss fights.
I guess I’m also the person that doesn’t find much of a reason to play if people are being like that, cuz it kinda ruins the experience a little bit. It IS just a game, after all, but people just take it way too seriously sometimes. I played four matches last night- Noc, Sona x2, and then I got to play Lissandra for the last one, which was kinda cool. The Sona matches were against other players; won the first one, the second one… not so much. But I also ended up on a team comprised of 3 level 30 smurfs and a Garen who I think was about my level of play, except he kept trying to invade everyone else’s lanes and didn’t join in to support fights or anything.
You can guess which two got blamed for losing that round. Lot of insults getting thrown at us and shit, but whatever.
Nah, haven’t tried Amumu. He isn’t free this week, and even if he was, I think I wanna get used to Laning before I attempt jungling, ha. Hell I can’t even get a decent build right, I’d be squishy as hell. (By the way next time you get on, you should add me to the friends list or somethin’ :0 Maybe we could play a round together or somethin’, fail horribly together, it’ll be great :D)
Ha, yeah I used to get that a lot. :P But I had fun. Ionic spark + massive attack speed + fuck you I’m Teemo always went well for me though. Haha. I’m terribad at AP characters though, been thinkin’ about givin’ them a shot. :0 I got kinda okay with Veigar and Lux way back though. But I’m still godawful at the game itself. Especially when everyone and their brother is so damn intent on winning that they have to berate everyone who isn’t pro. :/ It’s like ‘dude I’m new, don’t expect me to be awesome right off.’
’s part of the reason that before I quit playing I gravitated more toward the bot matches; much friendlier because it’s bots, the game can be more relaxed. But I wanna get into actually playing now.
